Transformative Learning for Sustainable Development
Transformative Learning for Sustainable Development allows everyone to acquire the knowledge, skills, attitudes and values necessary to actively take part in shaping a sustainable future. Transformative Learning for Sustainable Development means including key sustainable development wicked issues – e.g. climate change, poverty reduction, disaster risk, sustainable consumption, refugees and biodiversity – into teaching and learning.
It also means creating participatory teaching methods and high-quality learning environment that allow for learners to co-create their world and future.
Transformative Learning for Sustainable Development promotes competencies like critical thinking, action competence, future scenarios skills and collaborative decision-making. Transformative Learning for Sustainable Development deals with curricula and learning content, pedagogy and learning environments, learning outcomes, and social transformation in formal, non-formal and in-formal settings.

TRANSFORMERS – LEADERSHIP FOR TRANSFORMATIVE CHANGE
The Transformers program will inspire leaders with a wealth of methods for driving change, work with them in their transformation project, and create peer-support groups for other transformation projects and participants. The program is implemented in collaboration with leading stakeholders in civil society, private and public organizations and with three high-ranking international universities.
